     Your the best teacher ever. I’m really going to miss you. You taght me alot about my writing skills and how I can improve. I can’t wait to take your class again because your a great teacher and I rteally learned alot. You help me in so many ways that I feel that my writing skills are getting better day by day. A senior view on Xavier Mission? Thursday, Dec 3 2009

When I questioned a senior on his thought about the mission statement here at Xavier, he reply was rather short and straight to the point. He said the mission suits Xavier. But the fact is that it is a black school and things are not going to always fall into place. This school can not always prepare students to be perfect. He says over all the mission itself has good morals but it is just that when it comes to breaking it down word for word it has its negatives. The mission completes the school and its students as a whole.

I think that she would happy with Xavier. It’s performing to become an outstanding school. The medical field is growing day by day. Everyone wants to come to this school because they feel that they can have a great opportunity to a great job. The learning experience is outstanding. I think she would be really proud of the school

I posses a lot of leadership qualities beacsue I am a nice and helpful person. I love to give advice and help others. I’m there for anyone who needs me. In order to be a good leader you have to listen to what people are going through. You have to be respectful of others.One must respect those who he chooses to leads. So respect is another quality. But, I know I have a lot of thing to work on because to become a leader you have to be the best. I know that its hard work but you have to wortk hard towards this goal.

Poverty really help New Orleans in alot of ways. If it wasn’t for there hurricane disaster we wouldn’t have all the new things that the city has earn. Poverty help everyone to understand to cherish everything you have why you have it because it can be taken away fro you at any minute. Due to Katrina like every other family we lost everything, and we had to survive until my mother could work again. The only thing that made it bad for us now in New Orleans is all the killings that we have. We have more killings then any post Katrina. The muder rate has went up more then anything beacause we have more gangs then we ever had in New Orleans. The citizens of New Orleans went other cities and has become accustom to thier life styles and has adapted to it. But it really hurted us more then it did to help us.

I think Barack Obama’s father would be very happy for his son with his book and carrer. Barack came a long way from being in a diverse family. Obama’s father would be very happy that his mother and grandparent put alot of hope in Obama eyes to get him to see the big picture of how is father was as a man. It would draw them closer in spirit and hope because his son has faith in him. I think his father would want to be with him no matter what people said about his mother and his relationship. I think the realtionship between both would be mutal. I know he loves his father even though he wasn’t there and i know his father loves him.

 

What is your favorite class at Xavier and why Monday, Oct 12 2009

My favorite class at Xavier has to be Mr.Homan and Mr. Tuman class. The reason why i love both of these classes so much is because both teachers are not so uptight and there here to help everyone. Mr.Homan is a really down to earth guy who likes to have fun and become serious at the same time. If we have anything wrong going on to school he would like for us to come to him for help. Mr. Homan laughs and joke with us even though hes a teacher but he does his teaching duties. Mr Tuman is a really good writing teacher, jus like Mr. Homan he likes to put a little fun in our class so it won’t become boring like the other classes i have.

 

Why did I choose to come to Xavier? Wednesday, Oct 7 2009

The reason i choose to attend Xavier is because the Pharmacy program here is number one in the country. I wanted to get the best education and chance to become a pharmacist. Xavier is a great school, I love the campus. The campus is not to big like schools like LSU. You can get more of a one on one typre help with teacher and faculty. The studies at Xavier are really challengeing but I can excced anything that i put my mind to it. I always wanted to attend this school even when I was a little girl.
