 I have to say that I really enjoyed your class this semester, even though I only have you once a week. This class helped me known the things that I need to know for this semester and future semesters here at Xavier. You were a fun and out going teacher. I enjoyed all of our discussions that we had in class. I wish you were doing Freshman Seminar next semester. But keep up the good work Dr. Homan…Thank you again

I believe that St. Katherine would be happy with Xavier in many different ways. We have continued on her mission that she has started. We have also grown in many ways. I guarantee that she is very pleased with the people her at Xavier!!

Interview on A Senior about his/her thoughts on Xavier’s mission Tuesday, Dec 8 2009

The senior interview explained that he doesn’t really care about Xavier’s mission statement.He feels as if thats not the reason why we graduate. I have to say I agree with this statement. Even though we might follow this statement we graduate because we pull ourselves together to graduate. But I dont agree that we shouldn’t care about a school’s mission statement because it may help you in the future.

What would Barack Obama’s father think of the book? Tuesday, Oct 6 2009

If Barack Obama father read the book I think he would think of it as unique and different. I also think that he would be proud and sad at the same time. I dont  think he would like how the way he talked about racism and other different things that were going on. But other than that I believe that his father would have good thoughts on this book.

What is your favorite class at Xavier and why? Thursday, Oct 1 2009

My favorite class at Xavier I would have to say would be English. I chose english because we read different stories that I didn’t even know existed. Most of all my teacher is very energetic, and keeps class going.  We discuss different topics that we deal with today, and that also go along with the story. We read about Katrina, racism, and etc. But most of all I like to write, so I look forward to that when its time to write an essay. This is why English is my favorite class at Xavier.

What type of leadership skills do you posess? Friday, Sep 18 2009

I poses a lot of leadership skills. I have grown up to my family always telling me to be a leader and not a follower. I always was considered as a leader in school. Everyone looked up to me. I never did nothing bad, I always did what i was supposed to do.  I am very motivational. I think my motivation is very good with me achieving goals in life. It helps me not to give up on anything!

My professional plans are to become a therapist. I want to work with children. I also want to be a Marriage/Sex counsler. It’s something different and I just want to try it. Xavier’s mission affects that because they are going to help succeed with all my goals.

Why did I choose to come to Xavier? Thursday, Sep 17 2009

The reason I chose to come to Xavier because they had a good Psychology/Pre-med program. They also are high in rate with sending african americans to medical school. I also heard some good things about this school from present students  that go here now. So thats how i decided to go here.
