i think this a great book he was very bold and and strong to write about race and equality… these are his thoughts feelings and memories in a book and i am more that sure his father would be proud of his son for sharing with the world the problem that he faced growing up!! this is a real book and Barack Obama is a real strong man just like his father would have wanted him to be so i this his father would be amazed with his sons talent!

omg this is like the best topic to write about. okay so my favorite class at Xavier would have to be my english class! Mr. Tuman… it is like the best class ever no really. just being there makes you want to engage in the discussions he make’s you want to learn and write papers! there is never a day that we do not laugh and learn at the same time! i love to come to class early and wouldnt mind staying  thirty minutes late! just being in that class has made me think of becoming a writer! i am really good at it it’s just little things that have to correct in my writing! another reason why this is my favorite class is because i enjoy participating  i love reading the examples or sharing with the class my daily writings! but most of all i think it is because of the teacher! he makes you want to learn and makes every assignment feel like it’s a piece of cake to do! the way he ties together our daily topics to thing the class can relate to is wonderful so thats why my english class Mr. Tuman is my favorite class!

poverty has not benefited new Orleans in any way possible!!! i just want to know how can poverty benefit a city? the only way i can think of it benefiting the city is by being noticed nation wide!!!! but still that does not benefit my city!! if anything poverty has harmed New Orleans!! it has harmed New Orleans because that is all people see and speak of when they come to New Orleans Poverty!!! there are more people living on the streets than in houses. there are more people begging for money of trying to sell thing than tourist. New Orleans has such a bad name just because of the poverty down here! it is aired all over the news and that is not a good look for New O

ummm this is not hard to explain… i’m a leader it is natural all aries especially me posses some type of leadership. but the type that i posses is always being positive. i have such a positive vibe that when people come around me they want to do the same thing. people want to engage in positive discussions that i am having. i feel very proud that i can turn a sour situation into something good. i open peoples eyes to the positive side of things and let them know that we will never be able to find out the true meaning of a situation unless we go to that person with respect and ask them.

my professional plans are to be a pharmacist and a hair stylist. i want to own my own hair salon and pharmacy in one. Xavier’s mission statement will affect my professional plans by preparing me to be a leader in society and do the right thing. i will have the knowledge to excel at what i do. therefor i will be one of the best female pharmacist ever.Xavier will prepare me in a field the will help me succeed  in my career and in life. i will be comfortable with learning from other people and diverse learning environments. so Xavier’s mission statement will affect my professional plans by providing me with the knowledge and leadership skills i will need to be successful in life.

the reason i  have chosen to come to xavier is because i want to be a pharmacist. xavier is the number one school with there own pharmacy school. xavier is also an HBCU and i feel that it is important for me being able to be in an HBCU. i also choose xavier because it was close to my home and why would i go out of state and pay more money when i have the best pharmacy school in new orleans. i also wanted to experience meeting new people and be away from my friends so i decided to stay in new orleans and make the best of my situation. .xavier also has more one on one learning experience and i felt like that is important for me to know my teachers and feel comfortable being able to learn
