Automobiles and interstates givesevery one the ability to travel distances, whether it be short or long, and are a huge role in the sucsess of the fast food industry. It gives them the freedom to travel wherever they want whenever they want.  They do not have to follow a bus schedule or go by anyone else’s time if they wanted to go to a fast food chain in order to eat or just to simply drive around and enjoy the landscape. Since the interstate gives us so much freedom to go anywhere as we please, we can go to any fast food chain or place easily. This gave us the ability to travel long distances to other states to visit relatives or to go on vacations. There are fast food chains at almost every interstate exit. The reason for this was because people get hungry, while driving long distances so they are forced to take a pit stop into a fast food chain or else they will starve. Fast food chains are similar to automobiles. In the past, automobiles and fast food chains were not as high tech as they are now. Now a days, everything in technology is simplified so people can maximize their time and will still be able to do other activities with ease.  Over time, fast food chains developed drive thrus. This made it easier for individuals to be even lazier and order in their car. Fast food jobs are made to be the easiest job that anyone can handle because all of the tasks are things that they do every day. They have specific things to say and perform every hour of the day. Also, fast food spread all over the world to different countries, like italy and australia. The diversity and renowned name is how automobiles and interstates play a role in spreading the fast food culture
